Mario is a dedicated REALTOR® specializing in the vibrant San Diego real estate market, where he helps clients navigate the complexities of buying, selling, and investing in properties. With a strong passion for empowering individuals to grow their wealth and secure their financial futures, Mario leverages over 20 years of experience as a primary investor in rental properties across Florida and California, as well as his partnership in a successful real estate syndication.


Whether you’re a first-time homebuyer, a seller, or a seasoned investor, Mario offers strategic negotiating skills and a client-centered approach  to help you achieve your real estate goals. He is a proud member of the Kappel Realty Group, recognized as a Diamond Level team by the San Diego Association of Realtors since 2019, and ranked among America’s Best Top 1.5% of teams  in the country by the Wall Street Journal. The team combines data-driven insights with a focus on education, ensuring clients make informed decisions about their real estate investments.


In addition to his real estate career, Mario is a U.S. Navy veteran with 21 years of service, during which he held key leadership roles in launching innovative programs for the Navy’s Unmanned Maritime Systems (UMS) initiative. After retiring, he worked as a Program Manager overseeing $120+ million in government contracts by leading multidisciplinary teams to exceed customer and company expectations in terms of cost, performance, and schedule. This experience has honed his skills in Discipline, Attention to Detail, Focus, and Communication, all of which he applies to provide comprehensive support throughout the entire buying or selling process, backed by the expertise of his team, network, and brokerage.


Mario has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP). When he isn’t helping clients realize their homeownership dreams, he enjoys exploring the city, hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, and immersing himself in the local watch and car culture.
